My Passion

My Two Words For 'Music'
Sachin Gupta, Software Engineer, GE Labs, Shares with us his passion for music

There is a great revolution in many areas but I will not say about all those areas except 'Music' here.

What is 'Music'

In Hindi, it goes like: sang + geet ( sang is meant for 'saath' and geet meant if 'gana').

So 'music' is a group of things (living or non living), which is directly related to harmony.

Why ‘Music':

So far we have discovered almost all material things in life or some are remaining to be discovered... but what is that which we have not discovered yet and not visible through our eyes?

Yes I am talking about our Soul' and 'Mind'.

What have we discovered to realize these precious things?

Answer is - 'Feelings' which may be good or bad but always have a result, which can be in form of either 'Happiness' or 'Sorrow'. .

When we are in state of either 'Happiness' or 'Sorrow', we always spend some time to think about it but what if we could make it better with a tuned way so that we can express even our 'Sorrow' in different mood.

So, Music is another way to express our feelings .

How to enjoy with ‘Music':

A beginning requires the basics only, not diploma or degree. Mastering a skill will need proper concentration and continuous practice in the stream. Depends on the person what he wants to be. So in case of ‘Music', we require at least tongue and throat. Don't worry whether we have good voice or not.

Today is the mode of ‘Mixing', so only mingle all the things but in a way that should create a sound, no matter who will like to listen this and who not, because 'World is full of its kind'.

My Experience:

I am not maestro but also not a beginner to play ‘Synthesizer'. I have been playing the ‘Synthesizer' in musical shows for last seven years. During these years I have had many experiences, but I still feel that I am standing on way to learn more and more from non ending ‘Music'.

So, moral of my experience is that – “A small end is just beginning of a new experience
